What a wonderful way to spend an August Saturday afternoon. A great friend of mine, Julie Hutter, has recently stepped into a beautiful time of her life of exploration and sharing her passions and true calling. It is an awe struck experience to watch someone be more about the action of life rather than just living in the “what ifs.” Julie is always open to sharing, and that is just what she did for our event Revive + Sound.
I’ve taught at Spenga for closing in on 5 years. A space that is usually high energy and high movement was shifted into a calming and releasing sanctuary for a short few hours this special day. We moved together in a yoga flow I created to centered on opening our hearts to receive our dreams and to practice releasing what no longer serves us. Following our yoga flow, I shared a meditation I wrote about manifesting and how our chakras can help draw in our dreams, cultivate our dreams and keep our dreams safe for nourishing and developing.
Julie then brought the magic of sound to seal the deal and what seemed to both settle and stir the energy we created with movement & meditation. This is one of the greatest things I love about these experiences and why we have to keep showing up; it is a gift that is unique each time.
